This is my final product of an art direction assignment we had. I came up with the concept (with the help of others), created the visual language, and then directed a photographer to get this shot just right. Noel Poage was my photographer and he is basically awesome. check him out here. www.noelpoage.com Also, a big thanks to Donny Januik of Januik winery for helping me make a lot of this process possible.
I'm really happy with how this turned out compared to my digital comp that i put together in photoshop.

Our class is making a Graphic Design Alphabet for a 5th grade class here at a school on Capitol Hill. Every four letters has a time period associated with it and my letter is obviously the letter "L". Hopefully you could guess my time period is the 60's.... otherwise i failed... haha

I've come to realize that with how busy I am doing school projects, I neglect my own personal art. I feel less creative when i don't make stuff on the side and I don't feel quite as good about myself. Heres an identity project that was for a made up dog hair salon that i came up with. This is a dog hair salon called Hair Today Wear Tomorrow that takes the cut dog hair and weaves it into fabric to make sweaters for the dog owners and the dogs themselves... No Joke, people actually do this. check it out
